Definition of Product Classes
  • Product Class I, Baby
    Products and basic materials and accessories provided for the production of articles for babies and children up to three years old (leather clothing excepted).
  • Product Class II, Direct Skin Contact
    Garments of this class are worn with a large part of their surface in direct contact with skin. Examples are blouses, shirts and underwear.
  • Product Class III, No Direct Skin Contact
    Garments of this class are worn only with a little part of their surface in direct contact with the skin. Examples are stuffings, linings etc.
  • Product Class IV, Decoration Material
    Articles and accessories used for decoration such as table clothes, wall coverings, furnishing fabrics, floor coverings and mattresses.
