For fabric / garment
inspection service, STR can provide In-process
Quality Check, During Production Inspection, and
Final Random Pre-Shipment Inspection.
The In-Process Quality Check provides a snapshot
of the situation at a factory once production
is underway. It will typically consider and report
on stocks of raw materials or components, any
current production problems, daily production
rate and quality of the finished product.
During production inspection which often carried
out during the early stages of production serve
to assess the quality of the finished product
as it comes off the line. The product is evaluated
for safety, design, and performance. This type
of inspection provides valuable feedback to the
factory in enough time to make necessary changes
and still meet ship date.
Pre-shipment inspections are carried out on a
container-by-container or shipment-by-shipment
basis before the product leaves the factory. A
PSI not only serves as a vital final check on
product quality but also includes other checks
of packaging, volume of product per container
and carton markings. |
